Provide young children with a quality Montessori learning experience, in order to promote intellectual, physical, and social/emotional growth.
Megan has worked as a Montessori Assistant Teacher since 2012, when she fell in love with the philosophy and watching children thrive in the environment. Megan has a passion for advocating the social and emotional well-being of children before they enter elementary school.
Megan was born and raised in Eastern Cincinnati and lives there with her husband, John, their two children and three chihuahuas. She graduated from Walnut Hills High School, where her mother taught for twenty five years.
When not in the classroom, you can find Megan performing with local theatre companies, like The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati. She also works as “Farmer Megan” at Sunrock Farm, where she leads children in activities that emphasize a love and respect for animals and a deep connection to the natural world. Megan earned a master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in Voice Performance and Pedagogy at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey.
