SNAPSHOTS OF OUR ENVIRONMENT
  • Montessori Center Room provides an authentic Montessori education to build love, confidence and independence in our children, all with a commitment to providing access to families regardless of income. That’s what makes MCR special.
Our care of the child should be governed, not by the desire to make him learn things, but by the endeavor always to keep burning within him that light which is called intelligence. - Maria Montessori

We need your help to continue to provide tuition assistance for many families with demonstrated need and make enhancements to our school environment -- including our beautiful new playground mural, classroom materials that strengthen learning, and other special projects.
Your donation makes a difference for our children

Make a tax deductible donation to support MCR today!
Our annual fundraising goal is $12,000 but, because of your generosity, we believe we can exceed that goal this year to put more resources into tuition assistance and school enhancements.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.

you have 14 days to observe your child for at least one uninterrupted hour before parent teacher conferences.
please sign in so the teachers know you have observed.
we are so fortunate to have the ability to observe unobtrusively.
ENJOY!
  • tomorrow is a brand new day with lots of brand new works. works made with love and special consideration of each unique child and where they are developmentally. “Our work is not to teach, but to help the absorbent mind in its work of development. How marvelous it would be if by our help, if by an intelligent treatment of the child, if by understanding the needs of his physical life and by feeding his intellect, we could prolong the period of functioning of the absorbent mind!”
― Maria Montessori, The Absorbent Mind
