Tuition Assistance

The purpose of the Montessori Center Room Tuition Assistance Program is to help parents in financial need to send their child(ren) to the school.

Tuition assistance is in the form of reduced tuition payments. Because the fund is limited, assistance will not cover the whole of any student’s tuition. The family’s financial status and the school’s budget are taken into consideration when determining an amount of assistance.

Parents desiring tuition assistance should so indicate at the time they apply for their child(ren)’s admission to the school, or in the case of continuing students at the time they formally indicate their intent to return (which happens in mid-December).

Montessori Center Room uses FACTS Management to evaluate and report on each Tuition Assistance application submitted. Families complete the application online by setting up and using their own FACTS account. The MCR Board does not see the family’s application or submitted documents. FACTS then sends the recommended amount of financial assistance per family to the Executive Director. The MCR Board will review the recommendations, with each family’s info being coded so as to protect confidentiality. Those families receiving assistance will be told of the amount of their scholarship award. The scholarship award will be for the upcoming academic year only. Parents of continuing students reapply for Tuition Assistance each year.
