Provide young children with a quality Montessori learning experience, in order to promote intellectual, physical, and social/emotional growth.
Ashley joined the MCR community in 2018. After getting her degree in Early Childhood Education at Miami University, she left traditional education behind and worked in Cincinnati’s non-profit sector. During this time, she fell in love with the authenticity and individualization that the Montessori philosophy offers children. She obtained her Montessori credential from GCCME (now Crescent Ridge Academy) and has been at our peaceful, little school by the river ever since. She is passionate about the holistic approach of the Montessori philosophy and truly believes that all young children would benefit from learning in a Montessori environment.
When not at school, Ashley is usually spending time outside, attending concerts, or playing board games. Hiking and camping bring her great joy and are the basis for most of her vacations with her husband, Alex. She lives in Silverton and often enjoys walking to The Dipper for soft serve ice cream.
