Lauren Alexander

Lauren has both a professional background and personal connection to her role at Montessori Center Room. As a former MCR parent she found a deep connection with the Montessori community and philosophy. When her children moved on from MCR and to Cincinnati Public Schools she saw how prepared they were for both school and the world. It was an inspiration to return to teaching after many years at home with her daughters; June, Aggie and Bea.
Lauren holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and has earned her Assistant Montessori Teacher Certificate from Crescent Ridge Academy. Her time as a stay-at-home mom enriched her understanding of child development and her love for children’s natural curiosity. Lauren finds joy in building meaningful relationships with the children, observing their growth, and fostering their independence.
Outside the classroom, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and running. She is also active in her community through volunteer work and finds fulfillment in giving back.
